Seihō was a well-known painter who also authored a four volume picture book intended to provide models for aspiring artists to copy or trace. It was published in 1901 and entitled Seihō Shūgajō (i.e., Drawing Manual by Seihō). The book’s nineteen woodblock-printed pictures of flowers, fruits and (or) birds are shown in this gallery.
